COMPASSION for kids for the PANDEMIC: CONVERSATION STARTERS

VICTOR & THE GREAT PAUSE is a children’s story about a clever and compassionate stray dog and his experience of the Covid-19 pandemic. This illustrated videobook is brought to you by THE BRIGHT SIDERS, a multi-arts collaboration between acclaimed songwriter KRISTIN ANDREASSEN and NYC child psychiatrist DR. KARI GROFF.
They welcome you to watch this 20-minute video with the children you love, then download the FREE accompanying guidebook “COMPASSION IN THE PANDEMIC: CONVERSATION STARTERS FOR PARENTS, TEACHERS & KIDS” right here.
THE BRIGHT SIDERS offer this story as part of their preventative health mission. The story is intended to help children ages 5-9 process and discuss the experience of the pandemic, with a focus on compassion and courage. Young listeners will be inspired to think about both their own experience in the pandemic and what it has been like for other people.
